Environmental and Sustainability
As a responsible company we are aware of the potential environmental impact our business may have. By working in partnership with out clients and the community, and under our own progressive ethos, we make every effort to minimise this impact. Accredited to BS EN ISO14001:2004 and supported by our Environmental Policy we maintain a rigorously controlled management system, including specific contractual environmental plans highlighting:
- Waste minimization and effective waste streams
- Maintenance of local flora and fauna infrastructure
- Minimisation of noise and air pollution
- Elimination of pollution to local land and water courses
- Maximum use of sustainable products
- Maximum use of alternative products
- Re-use, reduce, recycle policies
- Delivery of various innovative solutions for sustainable practices
Staff Training
Staff undergo environmental training, reinforced through site-specific inductions and frequent discussions –‘tool box talks’- on particularly relevant environmental issues. On each project our aim is to work closely with local communities as supported by our ethical and environmental company policies.
