CR Reynolds visit Paull Primary School

CR Reynolds completed a 14 week project to create the longest glass tidal defence structure in the UK. You can find out more about the project by viewing our case study here.

The innovative glass barrier is part of a larger, £30million five-year project which, when finished, will provide flood protection to more than 14,000 properties in the Hull and East Riding areas.

CR Reynolds were delighted that the East Riding of Yorkshire Council were able to use a local company to deliver such a prestigious project, and to help inform local residents of how the tidal barrier will make a difference, David Cheesman of CR Reynolds visited Paull Primary School to answer any questions the students had surrounding the recent project.

The assembly was a success and all 3 classes from Paull Primary School had a number of questions to ask. As part of our ongoing strategy to support the local community, we also held a drawing competition for pupils and made a cash donation to help raise funds towards upcoming school trips.

Take a look at some pictures of David with the pupils on the Paull Primary School below.
