CR Reynolds visit Withernsea Junior School

As part of our committed engagement with the local community and schools, Steve Hewick, one of CR Reynolds’ Site Managers, attended Withernsea Primary School who are backed by the ERYC as part of our policy under the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This was to give the pupils at the Withernsea School in years 4 to 5 an in-site in to the dangers of going on to a construction site to play. We then gave the children an opportunity to design a poster to be displayed around the site perimeter, the children showed great creativity in their designs and two lucky winners received a prize each that can be seen below.

Mrs Egan from Withernsea School said:

“Steve came to Withernsea on two occasions and below is an image of him giving prizes to Alex and Dylan. They have designed two fantastic posters which are being put up at the Withernsea site.

Steve spoke a lot about health and safety, environmental issues and how CR Reynolds is working for the good of the town and local community. The children are now aware of staying away from the site.

Thanks for your time Steve!”

CR Reynolds are committed to doing our bit for the community and it was a pleasure to attend Withernsea Primary School. Thanks for having us!
