About us
Founded by Chris Reynolds, our Chairman, C.R. Reynolds Limited is a privately owned and run organisation that has worked in the UK Civil Engineering and Construction industry for over 40 years.
Over this time, we have grown into a well-respected Principal Contractor with experience in delivering a wide range of civil engineering and building projects across the UK.
Our sustainable and continued growth comes from the high-quality services we provide to the Public Sector. In particular, we focus on the construction and maintenance of highways, bridges, public realm, and rail projects.
As a result, our turnover has progressively increased and now consistently exceeds £38 million per year. Our project values typically range from £50,000 to £16 million.
We remain actively involved in partnered framework agreements with several local authorities and national public sector frameworks. In addition, we regularly deliver projects for many high-profile private sector clients.
Our experience with framework contracts and the New Engineering Contract (NEC) reinforces our commitment to a cohesive and collaborative approach to project delivery.

We have a friendly and experienced head office team, who are based in Hessle. Our head office team is supplemented by project delivery teams, conveniently located across several regions including Yorkshire, the Midlands, and the North East. With the ability to self-deliver many aspects of civil engineering works, the location of our project delivery teams ensures that we have the flexibility to facilitate the requirements of our client’s projects wherever they are located.
