Testimonials

“We were very impressed with CR Reynolds and would recommend them to undertake civil engineering projects that require care and detailed execution.

In 2014 Together with the QS and Client, Stone + Associates selected CR Reynolds based on best value and interview for a measured works contract to create a new low impact, tree lined, landscaped car park for Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens in East Yorkshire.

CRR embraced the clients brief and the environment of working in and around significant heritage assets. CRR executed the contract documents / drawings professionally and sought clarification in a timely and well ordered manner. CRR undertook new and alternative working practises developed by GGP Engineers and ourselves, such as, engineered stone fills impregnated with grass and wild flowers. CRR deployed a well organised team of workmen and appropriate machinery to deliver the completed works slightly ahead of programme. The standard of workmanship and knowledge was very good and consequentially there was little to no snagging to address. CRR worked actively with the QS and a final account was settled with no problems.

CRR Staff are a credit to the company following client requested guidelines, local authority management plans and general safety procedures. They also worked in a tidy manner and were hardworking, which was a top down ethic.

I look forward to working with CR Reynolds again!”

“C R Reynolds have successfully completed a number of Highway structures schemes for Doncaster M.B.C won by competitive tendering.

Their extensive knowledge and problem solving ability was invaluable at an early stage in the design process for the Clownes Bridge Strengthening Scheme. Embracing the clients requirements, they proposed a solution that dealt with the flow of water in the watercourse whilst maintaining access for road users for the duration of the works. This prevented an expensive and lengthy traffic diversion on a busy cross borough route forming the only access to the local airport which was politically unpalatable to close.

The standard of workmanship demonstrated was exemplary and far exceeded our expectations. It was evident from the management structure down, that the whole workforce was engaged and took an obvious pride in the project. Their attention to detail, their willingness to plan ahead , to anticipate problems and to recommend solutions ensured that the project was completed on schedule and within budget.

I was very impressed with the final result and hope to work with C R Reynolds on future projects. I would have no hesitation in recommending C R Reynolds to other clients.”

“C R Reynolds were employed by Hull Trinity House Charity to construct a new car park / multi use outdoor events space known as ‘Zebedee’s Yard’, in the heart of Hull’s Old Town Conservation Area.

Won by competitive tender, the scheme was well managed, well resourced and was completed on programme and within budget.

The standard of CRR’s work met with our requirements for a high quality finish, which continues to impress visitors!”
