Rail

In 2011 CR Reynolds made a decision to diversify into working within the rail engineering industry.

As part of this process it was crucial for us to gain a Principal Contractors Licence which we achieved in 2012.

Since then, we have joined several frameworks and delivered a wide variety of projects within the rail engineering sector.

The key to the success of this sector of the business has been recognising the company’s strengths and growing steadily and organically.

As a result of a significant investment of time and finances into the rail division, we have been able to develop it further and we now have an extensive bank of PTS trained staff, with competencies including:

  • Controller of Site Safety (COSS)
  • Safe Work Leader (SWL)
  • Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP)
  • PDSW Authorising Authority (PDSW AA)
  • Industry Common Induction (ICI)

We are strong adopters of Network Rails manifesto “everyone home safe every day”

Our commitment to health and safety is unwavering. We hold Health and Safety System accreditation to ISO 45001:2018 and are certified by RISQS. We actively engage with employees, stakeholders, and the public to continuously enhance our safety culture, systems, and processes.
